Maru Ramen - Elk Grove

One of the best Tantanmen Ramen I've tasted. And Maru Ramen the house specialty.

The staff was very rude. He completely ignored me when I said I was here picking up my food. It wasn’t even busy at the time so there’s no way he must’ve not heard me. Then proceeds to turn his back around and stared at his phone. Honestly, this ramen place has one of the worst customer services I’ve ever seen. If you care so much about good service, this place is the opposite of that.

Paid for extra noodles, forgot to put it in with my order. Went on aThursday, and the broth barely had any flavor to it. Overall, wasn’t a pleasant experience.

I ordered the Tantanmen ramen. It was so dang good!! Some of the best ramen I’ve ever had in the States. Fast and friendly service too.

Came here on a cold evening and ordered the vegetarian ramen. Yum!!!! I was a bit wary at first about the eggplant. While I eat it, I’ve never seen it served with ramen. It was quite delicious, with a good, hearty texture without being too “slimy.” The broth was rich and creamy, serving size was generous, and noodles were plenty. I do wish there were more veggie additions to this ramen — the only thing in it was the eggplant, corn, and an egg. The vegan one seems to have more things in it.I’ll be back!
