The Mix Sashimi Regular was delicious! Great array of fresh fish for the price and pretty filling. If you're gonna get sashimi from somewhere get it from Satori's you won't be disappointed! :
I've came to Satori about 2 times now; if you're looking for top notch Sushi I wouldn't say this is the place. If you're looking for a quick meal or grab and go then yes. Their rolls fall apart easily, last time I was here very single roll fell apart when I picked it up w chop stick. Their customer service is ok, they greet you once you walk in. If you ask for any dipping sauces they act like they don't want to give you any. I ordered a meal for 5 people and when I asked for sauces they gave me 1 of each.
Satori is my favorite Japanese restaurant in the Sacramento area! It has been my go-to for years now and I always recommend it to friends and family. It's a bit of a hole in the wall, which in my opinion just adds to its charm. I almost always get the sesame chicken donburi which I can never go wrong with. It's amazing every time. I also like to mix it up with different sushi orders each time as I think their sushi is also very fresh and tasty. The portions for everything are very good and you got a lot of food, I love taking home leftovers for the next day! The service is excellent and the staff is always very kind. Also the food is served incredibly quickly, so you don't ever have to wait long at all. They even renovated fairly recently and the atmosphere of the restaurant is even nicer and more lit up, which makes for a great dining experience. I can't recommend Satori enough!!
My bf and I went at around 7:30 pm and the place was mostly empty which was totally ok, the vibes were good, the place looked clean, they have a huge mirror on the wall which makes the restaurant look brighter and bigger; and it's also good for selfies. The waitress was polite and gave us time to look at the menu, didn't rush us at all. The only thing I'm knocking points for is the fact all the waiters and waitresses were standing near each other at one point talking, which I wouldn't mind typically, but they starting getting loud with their convo and they were shouting and laughing pretty loud, we could hear it from the other side of the restaurant. Moving onto the food. We got the the esquire roll, tuna lover's roll, fire dragon roll along with the sesame chicken donburi and a bento box. They let you choose two different items for the bento box so I got tempora shrimp and teriyaki chicken, it also came with gyoza and salad. The food was delicious and super filling, we had to take half of it to go because we couldn't finish, which hasn't happened at other sushi places. Overall I would recommend this place :
