La Carreta Mexican - Elkview

Food was average, but came out quick. The waiter was decent but the lady that cashed me, my fiancé and my son out was EXTREMELY rude. I will never go back due to her attitude and how she was screaming at me. There’s was “ala cart” charges that I didn’t understand why they were there so I asked her…she then replied saying it was because my son requested a different sauce than the plate he ordered originally come with…it’s was literally an $8 charge! When she explained to me why I was being charged I said “okay, I just didn’t know what these random charges were.” And as I proceed to walk out of the restaurant she responds back with “that’s your problem, not mine.” She was already being rude when explaining the charges so her response at the end was just the cherry on top. She was extremely rude and unwelcoming. Because of her horrible attitude, I will never step foot in that restaurant again.

A decent Mexican restaurant convenient to shopping, bowling, main roads, etc. Came with three people total on a quiet weekday evening and we were all pleased with the food and (fast) service.

This is one of my favorite restaurants to go to at lunch. The atmosphere is always really positive and the employees are always really nice. I gave the food 4 stars just because I personally like my food a little more seasoned, but overall it's good it's just a personal preference.

The most average mexican food you can imagine. Although the portion size was surprisingly adequate, the rest of the dining experience did nothing to stand out. Parking: The parking situation can get a little congested. There is additional parking along the side of the restaurant.

Good place to come grab some Mexican cuisine. Staff was great and the food was delicious. Will def be back.
