But now you can almost always expect to be disappointed. The food sucks now, the portions and smaller and prices are higher, severely understaffed, flies everywhere, tables sit for over an hour with old food on them, and in general the overall cleanliness just isn’t up to par…It along with many other things, just aren’t what they used to be…
This was my first time visiting this restaurant. It has a laid-back, rural atmosphere. It's not a fancy or impressive setting, but the burgers we had were absolutely delicious. The double bacon cheeseburger had a generous amount of meat, more than you would expect for the price. The fries and onion rings seemed to be store-bought, but they were cooked perfectly and added to our enjoyable dining experience. I would recommend coming here for the food rather than the ambiance.
The food was very good. Prices were fair. Service was great as well.Nice local place. Will be back.
The cheeseburgers at this restaurant are fantastic, and they also offer lunch and dessert specials.
The lunch special... roasted mystery meat... with the gelatinous gravy...?. The waitress was friendly, so I didn't voice my complaints. However, truthfully, it was the most revolting thing I've ever tasted. I instantly wished I had ordered the hamburger steak instead. Even after forcing myself to finish it, I regretted eating it at all. The sides of pinto beans and mashed potatoes were decent, especially with added salt and pepper. I have never given a one-star rating to anything before, but this roast and gravy definitely need improvement.
