The Brook Bar and Bistro - ELLENBROOK

This is always a great pub to visit. Not only do they have decent food they offer several specials on beers. We visited on a Tuesday arvo and took advantage of their happy hour between 5 6pm. They had a select range of beers (pints) for $7 each but also discounted these beers as specials after happy hour. 150 Lashes for $10.50. Meals are airways great but I chose the Tuesday $20 parmi special which is available in several varied options. I chose Mexican which was very delicious. Our table also tried the butter chicken which was said to be scrumptious. Staff are always friendly and helpful. Once again a lovely visit.

Conveniently located in Ellenbrook we stopped for dinner. Plenty of tables and not busy on a Sunday night. . The menu was typical of a large bistro and I opted for a chicken and rice dish. I asked to swap out the salad for vegetables and was told there would be an extra charge. It looked well presented on arrival but....my vegetables were cold, barely cooked and so hard to cut and eat that i left most of them....honestly I was so disappointed, I really didn't enjoy this meal other than the rice it was served with as the chicken wasn't that nice either. Our waitress was very nice and the only positive thing about my dining experience. They were somewhat responsive to the feedback and kindly offered 10% off the bill. I definitely won't be returning as there are too many other good eateries out there

Stopped by early Tuesday evening to enjoy a few cold beers wine as it was a very hot day here in Ellenbrook. We ordered the fish tacos to share. My only grumble was there needed to be more fish. When the waitress collected our plates she asked how was the food? I shared my thoughts and her response was “it is a side/stater” and that she would add my feedback to some book they have. Just because it’s a starter does not mean less. I don’t think they were worth $18.00. We’ve recently stopped by on a steak night (Wednesdays). HUGE portions.. although the sauce (garlic) was not great. It let the whole meal down. Bring back the steak sandwich

This is a fantastic place for a mid week meal and drinks. Their outdoor garden area is a great place to meet up with friends or a quiet drink. The food menu, although not extensive, has a good variety of options. This time, we tried the korean chicken skewers and the Nasi Goreng. Very happy with food. Like a lot of other pubs now, they also have some cheaper beer options such as Carlton Draught for $9.50 a pint. Unfortunately they were charging me the standard price of $11 when I later got home and checked my card transactions. Management need to address this. Apart from this, it's a great pub and enjoy coming here.
