Standard pub chain. My mixed grill was excellent Only criticism they had no ice for drinks and certain menu items were unavailable—be helpful if told before ordering. Other than that, it was OK. *Due to the effort of replying and looking back at my criticism, it was unfair to nit-pick over ice and lack of items. I 'm upping the review to 4stars as was impressed with service and cleanliness of the toilet facilities (important detail for me).

Busy night but staff keep smiling and can't do enough to make you feel welcome. Friendly atmosphere, food was flavourful and piping hot. Staff are very friendly and helpful : highly recommend

Proper old pub inside, great service and we like the sizzling platters. Only thing that let's it down is the litter in the car park. Might not even be the pubs fault but makes it look tatty. We would still go again

Had works night out here, Degs was very helpful friendly went above beyond. Food was spot on.
