I have to echo what others stated and say this is the best jajamyun and taangsuyuk in the dmv that i have tried! I have been to korea and also have fantastic jajamyun in hawaii and this restaurant comes close to what i have enjoyed! First off, the taangsuyuk is nice and crispy!!! The meat portion is pretty good !! To ensure crispiness for leftovers, ask to have the sauce separated!! The taangsuyuk is probably the best i had in dmv area. The sauce is very good and on point! The jajamyun sauce is slightly on the watery side but in regards to the taste the saltiness and richness is nice. The noodles are pretty good. Jambong is a little too spicy, has lots of seafood though! They have great combos if you want to try a little bit half jajamyun half jambong, half jajamyun half taangsuyuk). The restaurant has a good ambience. The workers are super nice and hard working!! They always welcome and make small talk. The restaurant is very spacious and usually they are fast with their service. They also give the raadiah, onions, and kim chee for side dishes and hot tea! I love coming here and recommend trying this place if you want to try jajamyun!
Excellent service and fine tasting Korean American Chinese food. Yes, a Korean style Chinese food restaurant with that American slant. Good baiju 백주 too to go along with the meal. Now, the prices are on the high side to keep up with US government malgovernance. Got to bear it.
Gan Ja Jang Myum/pork with black bean sauce over noodles. The Whitish I believe a try to a tempura style of pork WAS Overcooked, 10 mins to chew, 12 pieces there120 mins, kidding. Noodles good how can you fail to cook, the sauce, where's the flavor. Side dish of 1/4 inch radishes, and onion, not a hint of flavor. Betta at H. Market. This time.
I visited this place about 6 years ago and had bad experience. The food was just bland and terrible back then. But I've heard from a friend who recently visited this place saying the food was good so I decided to give this place another try. I ordered jjajangmyun/jamppong combo and jjajangmyun/sweet and sour pork combo. All food came out at a reasonable time and were all delicious. They even tried to accommodate for my young daughter offering scissors to cut the noodles, fork, small plate and extra napkins. They checked on us multiple times to make sure we had everything we needed. Even offered my daughter lollipop at the end which made her day. I'll definitely be visiting this place again.
