Beautiful, attentive staff and great selection of food. their fried garnels and jjamppong were amazing, but jjajangmyun was a bit bland. yet, great place to get Korean adjustments of Chinese food and would definitely visit again!
Gan Ja Jang Myum/pork with black bean sauce over noodles. The Whitish I believe a try to a tempura style of pork WAS Overcooked, 10 mins to chew, 12 pieces there120 mins, kidding. Noodles good how can you fail to cook, the sauce, where's the flavor. Side dish of 1/4 inch radishes, and onion, not a hint of flavor. Betta at H. Market. This time.
After a rough week, I was craving some Korean comfort food. I came to this spot and got seated right away, and I knew exactly what to order. We ordered the jjamjja myun (half and half black bean noodles, spicy seafood noodle), rice with stir fried bulgogi, and some crispy tangsooyook to share. Any avid jajangmyun eater knows that both sauce and noodle texture are equally important. They did not skimp out on the sauce- it was not too greasy, very flavorful, and the amount was perfect. If you are like me and always pair black bean noodles with some fried pork/tangsooyook, please do yourself a favor and get the option with sticky rice flour. It is extra crispy and keeps that way till the next day. As usual, we ordered too much and they packaged everything for us to go. Overall, great food, casual experience, and excellent service. Will be back again!
