What’s better than good BBQ? Good BBQ at an unbeatable price! Whenever I’m driving from Austin to Houston, or back from Houston to Austin, I always stop at Peter’s BBQ. You can’t miss it, it’s the red and white building near Hruska’s. I stop there because the food is great, real Texas bbq, and my kids love it too! My daughter will eat a whole bowl of green beans. Even though she never eats green beans when I make them! My son loves the chicken, but my favorites are the brisket sandwich and spicy beans. I also like to order a whole chicken to go so I don’t have to make dinner later. It’s the best. After everyone is done we all get a free vanilla ice cream cone and hit the road. I know most people like to stop at big places, but we prefer the to support the locals, who are always happy to see us and welcome our business with open arms and big plates of food.
