Upon entering, the sign instructed us to seat ourselves, but we were promptly greeted and shown to our table. Our server and the entire staff were exceptionally friendly. The atmosphere was relaxed and casual, with everyone enjoying their drinks and company. We decided to order a couple of pizzas along with the Cosmo wings. Unfortunately, we found the smell of the Cosmo wings unappetizing, although the sauce itself was passable. I also wished the chicken wings had been fried to a crispier texture. On a brighter note, the pizza was quite tasty, and their house cabernet was enjoyable as well. They offer an extensive beer selection, and the cocktail menu looked promising. Overall, this could be a great spot for pizza and drinks. However, my sons, who are big fans of chicken wings, were let down by the experience, which is likely why we won’t be returning.
This restaurant consistently delivers an excellent experience. The salads and pizzas are fantastic, and the service is always attentive. My only tip is that it can get quite loud in the dining area when the place is packed. However, they do have a lovely patio for those seeking a quieter setting.
We visited on a weekday evening and the place was packed! Seating was self-service, but we were fortunate to find a couple of open tables. The food was quite good! We ordered a pizza, wings, and a mac and cheese dish, and I thought the quality was excellent! Since it was a school night, I opted to skip the cold beer this time. I would definitely return for more wings and pizza! Less than a week later, I went back specifically for the beer. It was loud and bustling, and I loved every moment!
For a Craft brew and Wood Fired Pizza fan, you are bound to find something good at CC; plus they have Salads, Wings and Mac-n-Cheese dishes. Plenty of big tables for groups or families, plus outdoor patio for nicer days. Casual ambience with friendly and efficient service from staff. Overall, solid 4.0 rating for me with food and drink selections with attentive service. Expect to pay $15-20 for custom Pizza, $10-15 for apps/salads, and $6-8 for a tap pint. Today was perfect to share an Arugula Candied Bacon Salad and Pepperoni Mushroom Pie. Salad was prepared fresh with homemade dressing and generous toppings. Loved their Pizza served hot from the oven, with plenty of toppings and melted cheese. Yep, patrons are not required to get STL style cheese only, they do offer a nice cheese variety when creating your own pizza! Pair your food with a great selection of craft/local beer options on tap, even more variety in cans/bottles, plus wine or non-alcoholic drinks available. They tend to get busy on evenings and weekends, so suggest going early or for lunch. I enjoyed it enough to cater a group takeout meal on another day. Crafty Chameleon was right down my alley, hope you ENJOY!
