Formartine's - Ellon

The food was delicious, made with very local ingredients. The service was excellent, and the atmosphere was cozy. We took a lovely walk around the lake, though it was quite muddy. Oh, and we also enjoyed some delightful homemade cakes afterwards!

Beautiful place to eat. always eat from the highest standard and the menu changes regularly. friendly and helpful staff. can be very busy at peak times. large forest trails near.

Today visited with the family. the food was really delicious and the coffee was well done. not cheap, but tastes good! good selection of Suki teas available. I had 'run rabbit run' very tasty.

Always nice to come back here, eat and drink are good, the staff is very helpful. they also serve cakes (free options available). there is a play area outside, they can simply see their children from the big windows if they prefer to stay inside. beautiful walk in the forest and around the small lake. there is also a farm with many products recommended.

We had a lovely little walk with our dog, who then snuggled up in the car while we grabbed some local coffee and a pie from the shop. We weren't hungry this time, but we plan to try the restaurant on our next visit!
