Probably the best pound I've experienced in MDI. Great food and reasonable prices.

The service at this restaurant is excellent, and the staff is very friendly. I ordered the grilled lobster twin dinner with corn and coleslaw. It was good, but it could have used a bit more seasoning. Just five minutes away, there's a sister restaurant called Smokey’s BBQ Lobster Pound, where I ordered the same dish. Their food was much more flavorful, likely thanks to the Jamaican chef who clearly puts a lot of love into his cooking. The lobster was grilled for a longer period, giving it a wonderful taste, and it tasted like it had been brushed with garlic butter and herbs. It was absolutely delightful! This is your typical quick local roadside eatery. I wouldn’t recommend the lobster sandwich; it’s not something I would order again. I realized that lobster really doesn’t belong in a sandwich. Just leave it be!

This was one of the best experiences I’ve had! We came about an hour before closing after trying to find a place to eat after a long day of hiking—the owner and staff were exceptionally accommodating and very friendly. The food was even better! They have the best baked beans I have ever had in my life. Great seafood and lobster roll (our first! along with other tasty sides. Very fair prices and a great atmosphere. We’ll definitely be coming back as soon as we can. With love from PA!

Best barbecue in Maine hands down. Everything we tried was amazing the brisket was melt in your mouth good the guys that work there are awesome. Chill and laid back atmosphere the way barbecue should be!
