I was on a road trip with some non-vegan friends who wanted to stop for ice cream. Since I was the driver, I decided to stay in the car and wait in the parking lot. When I was left out, I felt a bit left out until they brought me a surprise - a tower of delicious creamy vegan ice cream! They had two different flavors - vanilla bean and chocolate almond chip, so my friends got me both. The vanilla bean was my favorite, with a hint of coconut undertone and a rich vanilla flavor. The texture was gelato-like, smooth and creamy. The chocolate almond chip was also good, with lots of chocolate chips. The only downside was that if you wanted two flavors, you had to get a larger size. Overall, the ice cream was worth the wait, despite the slow service due to pandemic precautions.
On the day we went to Morton's Moo, they had three vegan flavors available. I tried the pomegranate blueberry, which was really delicious. The restaurant has ample outdoor seating and parking directly across the street. All dairy-free options were clearly marked.
The restaurant offers a great selection of vegan options. It is recommended to call ahead for reservations. We tried the Oreo milkshake made with oat milk, as well as three sorbets: lemon, blueberry, and blood orange. Convenient parking is available across the street. The staff was extremely helpful and friendly.
I was on a road trip with some friends who aren't vegetarian, and they wanted to stop for ice cream. Since I was driving, I dropped them off and waited in the parking lot across the street. I joked with them that if they found anything vegan, to bring me back a cup. To my surprise, they returned with a tower of delicious vegan ice cream! They had two flavors - vanilla bean and chocolate almond chip - and they got me both. The vanilla bean was my favorite, with a coconut cream/milk undertone that really enhanced the vanilla flavor. The texture was like gelato, soft and creamy. The chocolate almond chip had lots of chips and was very chocolatey. Although I usually prefer no hard mix-ins in my ice cream, the flavors worked well together. I devoured it all quickly. My only complaint is that you have to get a medium size if you want two flavors, which is quite large. I wish I could have gotten half scoops of each flavor for a smaller portion. My friends mentioned that the service was slow due to pandemic precautions, but we understood and appreciated it. Be prepared for a wait, but it's definitely worth it!
