Cafe Nero - Elmbridge

No matter how many times I request my mochas to be extra hot, I consistently receive one that is not even close to being hot. I will not be returning to this restaurant, which is disappointing because Caffe Nero makes the best mochas. I always receive a properly hot drink at the Cobham and Kingston branches, but I'm not sure why there is an issue at the Esher location.

The restaurant offers a good selection of coffee and cake, and the staff are efficient and friendly. However, the cafe's reputation as a dog-friendly establishment is being taken advantage of. On one particular day last week, there were five dogs inside, with one even sitting on a seat. A patron with two dogs brought their drinking bowl to the counter for a water refill. The staff do not seem to prioritize hygiene enough in my opinion. I have nothing against dogs, but I believe that allowing one dog per customer and requiring them to remain on the floor is a more reasonable compromise.

The service at this restaurant is excellent, as well as the menu and items offered. In addition, the air conditioning is excellent, which is especially appreciated in the heat of the summer. It is a comfortable and great place to stop for breakfast for a family of six.

Cafe Nero is the coffee chain where dogs are welcome. We go to this coffee shop most days because the staff are friendly, the cafe is clean and our dog is always welcome. Thank you Cafe Nero!

Fantastic staff, many of the cafe Nero outlets could learn from the quality of service provided within the Esher Cafe. Coffee was great, as was the food.
