The George Evelyn Pub Gardens

I had a pleasant solo stop at this restaurant for a soft drink in the beer garden, which was really nice. The atmosphere outside was great in the late afternoon. The staff was very friendly, as always.

I had a pleasant experience revisiting this restaurant, which has a great outdoor Beer Garden. The atmosphere is always nice, the staff is decent, and the service is very good.

The pub in the local area offers good beers and excellent service. The staff is very friendly and the food is also good.

This isn't our local but we have been here on several occasions in the past and always had a good experience but yesterday our visit was a bit of a let down. The food we ordered was nice but the waitress who served us had a bad attitude and was quite frankly rude. She had a foreign accent and struggled understanding what we were asking her for and giving her our order was fairly hard but not her fault as english obviously wasn't her first language however after about 5 attempts of my husband trying to calmly and slowly repeat our food order she started tutting and was becoming angry and looked at him like he was an inconvenience. Then there seemed to be a problem with the credit card machine and it wouldn't work so she shoved it towards another girl behind the bar and told her to sort it out then proceeded to walk away from us before she'd even taken our payment, leaving the other girl to finish the transaction for her. All in all not a great time had but hopefully just a one off bad experience.

Pleasant drinks stop off on a Thursday afternoon. Staff as friendly as ever. Friend’s Meat Calzone pizza was highly enjoyed.
