I didn't look like them so they weren't very helpful. Four staff member was on hand and they only looked at me and ignored the questions I had about their menu. Very SAD!! So, be forewarned, don't enter if you don't look or speak their language. What the HELL is happening to AMERICA!!
Came here for halwa puri breakfast with a group and had many issues.First, the food was subpar, butter chicken was not really butter chicken, nihari only had a few pieces of meat and I wasn’t even able to try it, and the rest was just simply not worth it.Secondly, and the most frustrating part was waiting on naan and puris. There were other people besides our group waiting on naan as they were bringing out 5 naans at once for 30 people.Additionally, the water and chai is not included which is absolutely ridiculous as who eats breakfast without chai and water. Finally, the owner coming out and telling us to leave was the last straw. We have reserved our spots and there was no time limit discussed before hand and no crowd. He was upset and was telling us that next time will only have 1 hour at the buffet. If that is what he wants he should include it in policy on the menu and posted in the restaurant. We had to wait half an hour at times for naan and puri so how is one supposed to eat within an hour where there is nothing to eat with.Do not recommend and will not be coming back.Parking: Small lot but enough
This place is a mess. Came here for the breakfast buffet. The food was not good and it was supposed to be halwa puri but the puris came out 1 at a time. Ridiculous. Not only that, but they don’t even offer pitchers of water. We came with a group of friends and they wouldn’t even provide us with water so we had to pay for everyone’s bottles of water. What the hell? I have never been to a restaurant that does that. The people we came with reserved us a table but the owner was so rude and told us to get out at 2 and told us that he would never allow us to sit for more than an hour if we ever came back which we won’t. We ate very little and made no mess and were quiet and friendly so I don’t understand his attitude. Also how are we supposed to leave in an hour when I’m waiting for them to make puris for an hour. I had already sat there waiting for puris for the first hour I was there and didn’t complain but he wants to tell us we can’t sit for more than an hour. Never going back.
I recently tried several dishes at this restaurant, including Dahi Bhally, Beef Nihari, Lahori Channay, and Chicken Seekh Kabab. The Dahi Bhally made for a great appetizer, and I really enjoyed it. However, I'm more of a beef kebab fan, so I wasn't particularly fond of the Chicken Seekh Kabab. I also ordered Rasmalai for dessert, but I didn't enjoy that either. Overall, the other dishes, along with the cheese naan and garlic naan, were fantastic.
The restaurant is quite stingy with their sauces; they hardly provide any chutney with the dishes. The samosas are excessively oily, and overall, the prices are too high. It seems that they prioritize overcharging customers rather than focusing on the quality of service.
