Spizzico Pizza - Elmwood Park

Delicious! I stopped quick for a slice of their cheese pizza and cheesecake. The pizza is well done and not greasy. I also enjoyed their cheesecake very yummy. I will return soon and eat in their cute and cozy dining area. Also, the customer service is excellent. The gentleman at counter was courteous and charismatic.

OMG! My husband and I took a ride to Elmwood Park and walked around the neighborhood. We usually stop at Johnnys for a beef but decided to try this place instead as we heard from the lady who runs the cash register how long they been in business and that their pizza must be fantastic. We were told we would have to wait 15 minutes for a supposedly fresh slice of cheese and sausage pizza. We waited. My husband fetched the slice and it wasn't even warm! Cold old cardboard pizza with something resembling cheese on top. It was so horrible that after only one bite we chugged it. The owners are too cheap to replace a louzy slice. What they fail to realize is this will eventually catch up with them. This place serves horrible tasting pizzas and I'm unsure as to why they've survived for so long but if they keep this up they won't be around much longer folks. I'm preying thru go under that's how angry I am. They play games with their customers and make them all wait for a fresh slice of pizza only to give us old cold horrid cardboard! No apologies here. No offers to replace emojify we spent on their garbage pizza. If you doubt my word just go back and read the comments and reviews of what others are saying. One particular comment backed up my statement about the pizza being old. How could they justify serving this kind of ****? So if you are considering dining at this restaurant here is my recommendation. Run like your the last two monkeys boarding Noah's Ark and it's starting to rain! That's a hard no from me! No no and no! You d been warned folks! Enter at your own risk!!!!! I'll be opening up a dispute with our bank cause I refuse to pay for trash food!!!!

This was our second time here. The pizza is delicious! It is that tavern style with a great thin crust, nice gooey cheese, and flavorful toppings. We shared a baked rigatoni, because one of my clients recommended it, and sheesh it did not disappoint!! Nice layers of noodles sauce cheese and more cheese. We had the meat sauce, this time, might try the marinara sauce next. Generous portion, came with a small salad, amazing creamy garlic dressing, and a nice chunk of Italian bread. I hear the ribs are good, so we will definitely have to order those next time, too. The staff was kind, knowledgeable about their products, and service was impeccable. The physical restaurant was clean and well maintained. One orders at the counter, then they bring it to your table. We will be back!!!

We love Spizzico. We have been ordering there for over 10 years. Saw it was a 3.5 star rating- no way. Great service, good prices and good food.
