Spot On Ripponlea - Elsternwick

I had brunch this morning with a group of friends to celebrate a "special" birthday (not mine). The service was outstanding; the staff truly deserve a medal for the countless times they climbed up and down the very steep stairs to take our orders, modify our orders, serve our food, and bring out the cake and champagne. The food was delicious, and the value was excellent! I highly recommend Issy and his team.

I visited Spot On last night with a couple of friends, and although we hadn't made a reservation, they managed to accommodate us despite the pouring rain! Instead of turning us away, they quickly set up a few tables for us in an upstairs room. The waitress was fantastic, and the service was impressively prompt, even with the place being busy. The food was outstanding; we shared several dishes, and each one was more delicious than the last! Overall, it was an exceptional dining experience by any standard, and it offered the best service I've ever had at a kosher restaurant in Australia!

I ordered some salads from Spot On for a small gathering and asked the owner to choose what he thought people would enjoy. They turned out fantastic! I highly recommend this place.

My wife and I tried out the new dinner menu last night and it was sensational. My mushroom linguini was exceptional, my wife's herb/sesame-crusted fish was outstanding and we shared the amazing pannacotta for dessert. They've toned down the lighting and added white tablecloths to create some evening ambience and the waiter was friendly, efficient and helpful. Well done, guys. Very impressed!

Just reopened and was packed, yet still received excellent service and delicious food! Looks great too
