It seems like they may have a new chef, as we typically opt for gluten-free options which can sometimes be hit or miss. However, this time the food was a marked improvement.
Love eating here. Service is fast and friendly, food is good. The chicken nuggets for the kids is real chicken! I’ve never been disappointed.
Awesome amount of Gluten Free options available!!! <br/ All the Australian pub classics at great prices. <br/ Gluten free parma’s and burgers are top notch! <br/ Good for big groups and kid friendly. <br/ <br/ <br/ <br/
We came here on a Friday night with four adults, four kids and were accommodated quickly and easily. Kids meals are great- lots of options, they come with salad and a drink for $9. We ordered a garlic pizza and one person ordered a soup to start- soup was huge!! (Really could be a main) and pizza was rich- very salty and cheesy. The mains took a little while to come but the kids were entertained in the play area. The food here is rich! The chef obviously loves big flavours and lots of salt! Compared to other local pubs and RSLs I think they are doing a good job! Definitely better food and service than Lower Plenty!
Had dinner with a friend who lives nearby and I though the venue was actually quite nice for a pub. There’s a pretty exterior, reasonable price points and a decent parma. Chips were tasty and plentiful as a side. Not exactly something I’d travel for but I’d be reasonably pleased with it if it were my local
