Eltham Fish Shop

The fish was coated in a light batter and the chips were delicious, though not as crispy as I would have liked. The food was not overly greasy and the fish was cooked perfectly. The restaurant had a steady stream of customers, indicating its popularity compared to the nearby fast food restaurant, which was empty. The atmosphere was typical of a fish and chips place, with fast and friendly service.

A quality, popular, obviously well run F&C shop.  Strange lack of reviews seeming it seems to be the busiest F&C shop in the area by far (seem to have around 8 people working during busy nights).Been 3 times, been great each time!  We were used to NZ quality F&C shops so that is saying something, been worried we wouldn't find something decent after a few disappointments in the area.  Fish well cooked, fresh, nice light batter... never been soggy.  Great chips and my daughter loves the hot dogs.  Finally!

Love this place! Never had a faulty fish! Service is good and a good price too. Unfortunately won't be going back as we don't live near anymore!

I believe this is the best fish and chips shop because I have been a loyal customer for years. It is definitely one of the top fish and chips shops around.

Quite decent. Fish was well battered and cooked, chips were pretty good too. Noticeably more costly than what I was used to in my old area, but food quality is on par. Staff is great, overall good experience. I'll be back.
