Boulangerie Du Village - Embrun

Nice bakery offering a good variety of breads, pastries and other baked goods. The apple fritters and boston cream donuts are a real treat.

People are friendly, provide great service. If they do not have what you are looking for in breads, buns, etc., they will order it for you.

This place has the best apple fritters around. Great donuts! They also have some great pastries and very good bread. The jalapeño cheddar loaf is our favorite. Small little cafe area if you want to sit and have a coffee or have a meal.

The last few times I have gone here= long lines, long waits, empty coffee pots, all around unpleasant.

So nice to have a real bakery in Embrun. The product and staff are wonderful. The sourdough bread is to die for...as are all the cakes and goodies.
