I would not recommend this location for an important function. the young person was good, that is the only thing that is good for the place. very disappointed
Recently visited for a high time and found this venue first class. ceremony in a beautiful racial area then eat before the reception and drink in the garden. very tasty eating and a lot of it. then inside for a great reception with a very good meal. and enormous service. we decided at night and so glad we did. very comfortable rooms and breakfast were fantastic. a great place.
We are excited to have our wedding at Marybrooke Manor. From the moment we arrived at the venue, we knew it was the perfect place for us. Deborah, Adi, and the entire team were incredibly helpful and accommodating. Due to COVID restrictions, we had to postpone our wedding at the last minute, just 24 hours before the original date. They worked tirelessly to reschedule the event and arrange accommodation for our guests who were staying overnight. Despite the challenges, we had a wonderful time during our visit and are eagerly anticipating our upcoming wedding day. Donna and Michael.
Please avoid booking with this business as they are only interested in making money and do not care about their customers. We had to cancel our wedding due to the latest lockdown restrictions caused by Covid-19. My wife and I planned to get married on February 14th, but Dan Andrews insisted on canceling our booking on February 12th. We had to quickly find another venue to get married due to my partner's pregnancy and for religious reasons, as well as her upcoming trip to New Zealand with Netball Australia the following week. The business was unable to accommodate us within the week before my wife's departure, so we ended up getting married on the evening of the Friday lockdown. They are now withholding an additional $1000 of our deposit money and claim that we are in the wrong. Be cautious when dealing with this business.
This place is absolutely amazing! We were treated like Kings! Nothing was too much trouble. The room was large and comfy. The bed was great and felt luxurious. Bathroom was nice and had everything you needed. No foxtel though but we didn't need it. The...meals at PJs restaurant were 10/10! We had a 2-course dinner. It was the best fillet mignon we had ever had. And I'm not joking!! The breakfast choices were great and included in our package. The gardens were exceptionally well maintained, fit for a wedding! Do yourself and favour and choose this place if you want a romantic get away in the Dandenongs! (No they didn't pay me to write this)
