We were able to make a last minute booking for our large group and were easily accommodated. The food and service were excellent.

The restaurant is great for coffee (they serve Merlo), as well as their egg and speckrolle. The special is always a hit. We have been there twice now and it is an easy walk from the midtown motel.

I used to come here for breakfast and it was good, but not anymore. The menu has changed and has become more limited. We ordered the Eggs Benedict and the salmon was cold, almost frozen, and the egg was cold and not consistently cooked. At least the croissant that came with it was somewhat warm, but it seemed like it had been reheated and over toasted.

The A La Carte menu was most interesting hard to select amongst the wonderful options. In the end we both chose the rump steak and it was worth the asking price. Service was prompt and friendly.
