Hands down my favorite shop. Light and delicious. Thay are not made with Lard like most donuts that tend to be heavy fat. The staff is always warm. Good coffee. Usually pots of regular, decaf and a taste. They open at 5 a.m., but on weekends the bigger donuts like bear claws and cinnamon drills etc. only come out between 8 a.m. and 9 p.m. So, if that's what you're looking for, it's best to come to 9: 00. Even though they are busy, the line is still moving fast. Enjoy and prepare to be amazed.
Decent donut selection, croissants and sandwiches. The main difference here is, they have fried fish, fried chicken and grill skewers, that you can go a quick and easy fried food firmly with your sweet donut and coffee :
Classic donut shop steam table food (chow mein, chicken satay, french fries). It's the stuff your parents never let you have that's exactly what your mouth wants. There's also a fridge filled with various bottled drinks, and always a pot of coffee. Go eat it, enjoy it, briefly regret it, then do the same exact thing in a couple of days.
I go too 2 Donut Cafe the one in San leandro, Ca. was like all the others sandwich, tea, breakfast. I notice in pass that is temp closed. Second Donut place is the same with a twist on yummy snack entrees located in Emeryville, Ca. Drop in for a Morn, Lunch, Dinner snack entrees their not busy.
