Regardless of whether fish, meat, wild or vegetables so far, all guests invited by us were always full of praise and have kept this beautiful inn and the nice hosts and operators in good memory! Cosy ambience in a rustic farmhouse with low wooden ceilings, tile stove and everything that belongs to it, almost like from a photo book by Fritz Baumgarten!
27 of us met in the sun to an asparagus dinner which preceded a very good salate and followed a very good dessert. the main event, the main course of asparagus, could have been better. taste, in comparison to other restaurants we were in this year a scandal when it could have been an excellent evening meal.
Beautiful meal at this place from the land. fresh salad and mushroom soup, followed by lamb with a kind of crust. cartoffels in a wonderful sauce, all with the local dry white wine. 3 types of desserts on a servier plate. they make the food wonderful!
I was eating in glotterdal. in the garden that was really refreshing. the employees there were very nice and helpful, although they do not speak English. her eating was really delicious and her prices were quite reasonable.
The reason we chose this restaurant was because we had noticed the last days that it was next to a playground. without expecting that everything we went there and found out that a michelin proposed family-run restaurant with excellent food quality, very nice and helpful staff and a very nice traditional atmosphere. it was actually the only restaurant in the black forest that the tellers seemed to have some Mediterranean influences, as they accompanied their teller with nice! even that was a first for the black forest for us! like broccoli. I guess it wasn't by chance that it was the only place in glottertal around 19.30. for us probably the best restaurant of our vacation and definitiw the best in our black forest trip.
