United - EMPIRE BAY

We decided to give the hamburgers a try at this restaurant. Unfortunately, they were completely overcooked and the chips were so terrible that we ended up throwing them away. The burgers were quite large, but the meat was flattened and dry from being overcooked. The chips seemed to have been reheated multiple times in old oil and by the time we got them home, they were cold and unappetizing. Overall, we were very disappointed with our experience and would not consider returning to this establishment.

Open every night, this restaurant is always packed with people looking for a delicious meal before heading home. The portions are large, the service is fast, and the prices are unbeatable.

This is a service station with typical removal food like chips bbq chicken etc. it is better than most service station food.

I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of the food at this restaurant. I was even more surprised to find out that it is located in a refueling station, as they typically have a reputation for expensive and low-quality takeout food. However, this place exceeded my expectations. Everything is very fresh and cooked to order (except for the roast chicken, which is a regular item). The fries are hot and not greasy, thanks to frequently changing the oil. The fish cocktails and pieces are actually real and reasonably priced. The burgers look great and are made to order. The Chico rolls and corn jacks are also hot and freshly made. They offer a variety of salads to accompany their chicken dishes. Overall, this restaurant offers good value for money and comes highly recommended.

We decided to try the hamburgers with the lot. Despite them being cooked to order they were totally over-cooked and the chips were so bad we threw them out. The hamburgers were very large but the meat was so over-cooked it was flat and very tough. The chips had been re-heated several times in old fat and by the time you get them home they are cold and disgusting. Would never go back there again.
