Betty's Pie Whole - Encinitas

I absolutely love pie and thus place is a gem! For savory pies, we ordered their best selling chicken pot pie and a meatball pie. For sweet, we got the apple crumble and pecan pie. everything we got was delicious and if we weren't so stuffed, we would have tried the other flavors!

This place is an absolute hidden gem. Not only are the pies delightful, but they're reasonably priced. You can have a savory pie for dinner and slide right on into pie for dessert! Furthermore, it's next to a florist and a koi pond supply shop that are set up like a family attraction- complete with an aviary, goat pens, and a tortoise enclosure! Gravel paths make for a lovely leisurely stroll after the dinner to work off those delicious carbs! To top it all off, because it's so hidden, it's a quiet, charming place to have dinner at a relaxed pace... in fact, maybe you shouldn't go there at all- so I can keep this place to myself!!

Really tasty pies! Sunday is not a good nite to purchase. Not much was left. Bought a small Key Lime pie, the best in town. For my daughter, she picked the pumpkin pie, deelicious! The grand kids bought cup cakes, but said the frosting cake part was dry. I had to agree with them. For that reason could only give them 4 stars.

Come here for pie! Couldn't get near mama Katz and they were snobby when we tried. Go here! Try chicken pot pie, strawberry rhubarb pie and we did not get to try the meatball pie but here it's delicious.

Yep came back again, always looking for an excuse to get Betty's chicken pot pie. Brought my son this time he loved it! He got the apple pie and devoured it. I stuck with my berry crumble. Amazing! As always!
