Before our trip to France, we were already fans of Isabelle’s pastries. We’ve made life-long friends by feeding people these croissants! We love the food here. So, when we went to Paris we didn’t know what to expect, but we did assume that the French food and pastries would be amazing, and probably far beyond anything we have eaten in the U.S… And the pastries were good, splendid even. We are things we have never seen or heard of before. However, we never found any croissants or staple French pastries that could beat Isabelle’s. They’re still the best!
I come here for coffee and pastry often. Everyone is really nice and the pastries are good. But PLEASE PLEASE cook them a few minutes less, its always so burnt and crumbly, the few times I got nice soft perfectly cooked croissants they were out of this world. But lately everything is way overcooked.
I ordered a sandwich but the kitchen was closed. An extremely kind employee named Ben overheard and offered to make me a sandwich even though the kitchen was closed and he was about to go home! Meant he had to reclean the kitchen afterward. My hungry belly was so grateful and I was so impressed by the service.
As always, the have the best tasting Eclairs! Great customer service.
I got the Monaco egg cheese ham crepe, and a double shot cafe latte while waiting for Discount Tire to install new tires on my car. The crepe was so good, I thought I was in France! The cafe latte also tasted really good. This is a nice, cute little French pastry cafe, with friendly staff, great food, and a relaxing environment. They have both indoor and outdoor seating. Highly recommended!
