Kale My Name - Encino

I was excited to visit this restaurant, but was shocked by the prices. The atmosphere is like a cozy café, but the prices are comparable to upscale vegan establishments. A veggie burger for $25 seemed outrageous! My friend and I were surprised by the prices, so we opted for a cheaper appetizer ($17 for oyster mushrooms with ranch dressing that were delicious and generously portioned) and two tacos ($18 for a satisfying meal, but not worth $50 with drinks and tip included). It seems like this place can afford to be more affordable for the average diner.

I was really excited to eat here, had a reservation for a really long time before I fly to America. eating was on average and inspiring. the staff was very friendly, but unfortunately the food left the place down. The Jack-Nuggets later make me sick in the evening, something about the taste that was just repeated on me, and I regretted to order them. the “Papa” hotdog was ok. but unfortunately not especially. would probably achieve a 4 stars if it was not for the ludfully high prices!

Really great to see a whole vegan menu with many options, but I felt it was very overpriced for what it was.
