Zum Weissen Pfau - Engelhartstetten

We had a great meal here while sitting on a very big patio overlooking the petting zoo. Great service too. Pumpkin, potato and sausage stew was delicious and the Blood Sausage with Sauerkraut was the best we have ever had! The only reason we was the Chestnut cake dessert which was old and did not have any perceivable chestnut in it.

Nice country restaurant in Schloss Hof with friendly staff, good food and big portions. Prices are good. Only bad is, when its cold outside, they have very big door like a gate and when someone open it, is very cold inside for a few minutes.

First we visited the white pheasant restaurant and that were some serious problems started; there was an indinat high number of greenbottle wings around our food throughout the meal. we even had to move in, but the problem went on. when this matter was seized with the personal, they simply explained it by saying that the caret was close! we had to let bowls of eating, one of my wife hardly touched, because she was so sick by the anesthesia of flying, at the end of the table to guide the flying. no less than large flying spent the rest of our time there on the tellers. not less than fellow workers tried to remove the fly plates, but had to be repeatedly told to leave them for the fly, as we could not finish our meal if not. when I was presented with the bill, I was accused of euros that were for a euro cursor, a euro single meal and apparently my beer, my wife orange juice and my daughter smiling chips' were the remaining euro. I don't know how this worked, because I wasn't presented with a pointed acknowledgement, only on the ePOS machine. I did not argue with this opportunity, as my wife was so sick of the experience that she wanted to leave as soon as possible. I find it strange, however, that in the restaurant unambiguous measures have been taken to not yet take a measure against the spread of diseases through flying and other insects of taking advantage of near.

This place is a complete chaos. there are waiters at the place, but only of them can order their order. I have never known my life saw such a chaos as in the "white pfau." imagine they pay at least for. the family ticket to come and the restaurant ruins its day. the service sucks, the food sucks, all in this plsce sucks. we waited for the wairer to pick up our order. I had to scream twice over the room so they could notice us. look at the photo, they serve carvings with lollipop as a children's course

The restaurant is arranged in a traditional rural style, rather dark inside and rough outside. if you sit next to such a wonderful castle and have such a luxurious name, you could expect a more impressive place. not bad, but not appealing. it is a place where they are fed and watered. the menu is traditional what is good, in our case the carving was great, but the salads were less than average. vegies or fresh or crispy, potato salad too sour, Mayo-pasta with too much mayo. personal very friendly and attentive. this place should not be called as a restaurant because of its position above a farm. the odour disturbs. on the land it's okay, but we're talking about a restaurant. all in everything they are fed, but do not expect too much.
