I requested a menu, and the bartender (the woman with the glass) hasn't returned since. I can see her, but she hasn't come back to check on me. A regular named Scotty took my menu and the bartender took his order instead. I'm always left feeling disappointed with the service here; it never improves. I finally asked another bartender, a woman with long brown hair and a tattoo on her right arm, for my order. I came here to enjoy a meal and a drink, but I ended up pouring my own drinks. It's really frustrating. You need more staff. I've attached a panoramic view to show that the place is not even close to full. I sat down at 5:45 PM on March 26, 2023, and now it's 6:30 PM. I've had just one drink, and no one has come back to see if I want another or to bring my food.
The food was great and the staff was friendly, but I had a negative experience with the owner regarding parking. I parked in a spot that was supposedly off-limits, but it was not clearly marked. There is usually a cone there, but it wasn't present when I parked, and there were no signs indicating that I shouldn’t park there. It seems that the owner's unfriendly attitude is part of their business culture, as that was the only available space at 6:00 PM on a Friday. If she wants to make sure people know about parking restrictions, investing a few dollars in a sign would be a good idea.
Great sports bar with a lively atmosphere! However, the A/C and fans can get a bit too chilly. The wait staff was friendly, but they did forget a few special order items. The Philly Steak Sandwich and Grouper Reuben were both outstanding. The onion rings and fries were also very tasty!
Visited Sunday evening with my 6 year old granddaughter and daughter. The dining room kept only 3 tables of customers. Our waitress said she'd ask if the queen could come without pepper and onions. She returned with a queen with peppers and onions and gave us no opportunity to change the order. I had not taken a bite when a drunk at the bar began to shoot inappropriate language, so loud the table next to us (and I) stood to say that children were here. A kitchen employee came out to try to stop it, but it was crazy to see your young wait staff (stand behind us) laughing about this situation. We escaped the dirty language and the restaurant to be followed by another drunk moss our car and call us FILTHY names to not pay our bill. Then an employee came, I assume to threaten a police call; I went back to pay our bill. One of the young (laughing) waiters came out to tell us, Maybe you should not go to a sports bar!!! For years, the End Zone has been a place for parents to take their children sports teams for fun, good food and good service. I was in the End Zone pool team for several years. I will never do anything if I will.
Amazing local sports bar and grill. When I first moved down to Florida in December 2021. I stayed 12 days at the Motel 6 next door. I took part in their Wednesday Wings day at one point they had a Thursday pot roast or meatloaf. I went there again today they had a wing special, .85 cents , loved the wings. Their seasoned fries were to die for. They reminded me very much of Checkers fries, but even better. Ash Wednesday super packed and crowded was amazing seeing how many people came spilling through the doors. The hostess and I assume one of the managers accommodated everyone and getting them seated. Even saw a large party of about 20 people get brought into a spacious back room. Great staff, great sports bar and live music on an outdoor patio. Definitely recommend them if you’re in the Englewood area.
