Cherokee Ranch Land Cattle Co. Saloon

Wonderful atmosphere. Owner is very nice and friendly. I believe his name is also Rod. I think. I might be wrong about that. But he was very kind to our group. Food is pretty good. They are accommodating to large parties.

Update: returned to try again for breakfast and it was the most unorganized and disgusting slop we have ever encountered at a restaurant. Staff didn't really know what they offered, items misspelled, minimal items on the menu and not available, the pancakes were burnt and cooked on the same griddle as the omelets without being cleaned. $60 for 2!! We will not be returning. Prices need to be drastically reduced AND the restaurant needs a full overhaul of the menu.

Today, my family and I attended the Cherokee Strip Parade and decided to grab lunch at this restaurant. It turned out to be a horrible experience. I usually don't like to complain, but the quality of the food was so bad that we shouldn't have had to pay for it. The mashed potatoes were cold, and even when they brought out new ones, they were also cold. The sweet potato fries were also served cold. Additionally, my son ordered fried pickles but they were out, and when I ordered shrimp cocktail, I was told that they smelled bad when they opened the bag. Since everyone else at the table already had their food, I decided to not order anything else. It was a disappointing experience, and we definitely won't be returning to this restaurant.

The restaurant looks impressive with an intriguing history, but unfortunately, the food was just okay. The prices were not worth it, I recommend saving your money and trying a different place. My sirloin steak was mostly fat, and my sister-in-law's rib eye was also fatty and overly charred from the grill. We ordered sautéed onions and mushrooms but they forgot to include them. When we asked for a to-go box, the waitress also forgot that. Despite the lack of attentiveness, the restaurant was not busy on a Saturday night at 8pm. While I usually don't write negative reviews, I felt compelled to share my experience to save others time and money when trying a new restaurant in town.

The experience at this restaurant started off great, as I was a regular customer. However, when I ordered hamburgers for lunch, they were terrible and overpriced.
