Though it was very quiet when we got there as we were there just after A Tractor run had been there. It's off the beaten track so unless you are looking for it you wouldn't know there's a pub there. It's a very old pub with lots of original furniture etc. Outside looks like it has the potential to be a nice beer garden in the summer that host all sorts of events. We hope to return again in the near future.
Love this local watering hole : Steeped in history that the owners are only delighted to share over a pint!
During our return from Cragganowen, we made a brief stop at The Crabtree for a drink. With six lively twelve-year-olds in tow, the bartender was friendly and managed to keep some of the kids engaged at the bar. The pint of Guinness was excellent and we enjoyed the cozy atmosphere of the pub.
After visiting Cragganowen, we made a quick stop at The Crabtree for a drink. I was accompanied by six 12-year-olds and was impressed by the polite bartender who even interacted with a few kids. The pub had a lovely ambiance, complete with a display of a Guinness painting.
