If you are looking for good trad music any night of the week, then look no further than Ciaran's. It is a staple of life for all trad music in Ennis and County Clare. You can find a good session pretty much every night of the week, the most popular at the time I am writing this is Wednesday and Thursday, which is perfect if you are out and about during the week. Sundays the session usually go all day and attract musicians from around the world.

If you 're a tourist coming to Ennis, this should be high on your list of bars to visit. It 's probably the only authentic 'Irish ' bar in the town. You won 't find anyone in sequins and high heels in here. The average age is probably about 50, they 're all from the local farms and have probably never left Ireland in their lives. You 'll always find traditional trad music playing and although I don 't drink Guinness, it 's meant to be one of the best on tap in the town.

One of the absolute best pubs I've ever been. There are tons of nights with traditional Irish music, really friendly staff, and always an amazing atmosphere. A must when in Ennis.
