We had the set dinner on Sunday night and opted for the bar menu on Monday evening. Both dining experiences were excellent. The staff at the restaurant were great - very friendly and helpful. The chowder I started with was delicious, but I was disappointed to hear that the vegetables in my main course were frozen. Unfortunately, the roast beef and bacon were not up to par. My wife had a Caesar salad which was decent. The house red wine we chose was excellent and reasonably priced. The next night, we dined at the hotel restaurant and had a good meal. The vegetables were once again frozen, but my rump of lamb and my wife's fillet of wild cod were both excellent.
