Came here with family, drove from the city of ensenada. tour is pesos adult, children. including tour of cows, cheese making process, fresh egg sample, cheese sample and glass wein (not produced in the anwesen). good tour, would have loved an energetic person, but still good. Eating and service was great. between us we shared the rib eye, cheese linguini, filled portobello mushrooms and lengua (togue). everything was delicious, cheap and we had leftovers! we cut the portobello mushrooms and added it to the cheese linguini. wow! meat was delicately tasteful, pasta was creamy, lengua was tender and tangie. the adult cows are well maintained and roam property. Baby cows are separated from mothers after a few days as milk is used for production. they seemed too thin. when they reach a certain age, they come to the happy räucherkühen. they produce cheese, butter, saw, ice, jam a few other things in the house. overall had a great time. aution: no cell traveling from the inner city of ensenada to here was quite scary. take them dramamine, so many uphill curves on the side of a mountain gulps. about an hour to get there. do not drive at night! they accept dollar pesos, beautiful bathroom, serve alcohol, only in free, very cool cheese cave, do not forget to drink! I recommend downloading maps.me app and downloading the map of ensenada area while they still have a good service. it works much better than other cards offline. many signs for the entrance of the device. I hope to help all these information!
We ate there as part of the cheese-cave tour, but it is not necessary to do the tour to eat there. ask for specials and they will not be disappointed. are generous!
This is a great day trip to the Cava. The restaurant is very good. The chef is the former assistant to Benji Molina who is the most famous chef in the area. I do not like the restaurant of Benji Molina, and think that this...chef must have far out performed his teacher. The food is wonderful and they use all local ingredients. You can even find fresh trout here. If you are at the Cava, please don't be afraid to try out their restaurant. It's wonderful.
El lugar se volvió caro, la cava de quesos es tan sombría que parece mausoleo y no hay mucho que ver alrededor. Para colmo, luego de un camino terregoso, hay días en los que el lugar no está abierto.La comida, totalmente normal. Compré mantequilla y no tenía ningún sabor. Los quesos, eso sí, muy buenos.Valdría la pena ir si no fuera tan lejos, porque a esa distancia no vale la pena el viaje.
