If you are wanting to take the cooking class and are not on a cruise tour, it's really easy to book by simply messaging on Mi Kaza's Facebook page!...My husband and I did just that and took a cooking class here for pp on October of and had an amazing time! This was definitely the highlight of our trip. It was affordable, fun and informative! Les, the owner, taught the class and was super knowledgeable about all of the local ingredients. The class comes with an alcoholic beverage and a hearty meal, which you cook part of from scratch. Truly, the best value as far as any cooking class goes! Locals seem to be in love with this place as well! This experience is great for couples, families and groups! Highly recommend!
We took the cooking class offered through Carnival, at this restaurant. Staff The staff was wonderful. Kind, attentive, and the chef who taught us how to make the items was great in his explanations and very interactive with the people. Cleanliness The restaurant was very...clean and I tend to reach for Antibactial wash a lot. No problems here. Food Since we were making the food we got to choose our toppings and how spicy we wanted the items to be. It was wonderful. The drinks come with the alcohol on the side so you add it to your drink. The drinks were very good, and Tequila for the Margaritas was smooth. This excursion cost us each through the cruise ship and the drinks were extra, for a Margarita.
Cooking demonstration with Chef Les others that own/work at the Restaurante Very hands on discusses all ingredients how they are used in making the items for the day. All products are fresh from farms around the area. Excellent chance to learn.. try something different. Each person is given the items that will be used during the preparation of the food then it is cooked by an employee then you get to eat what you have prepared.
