We came across this restaurant by chance, but it turned out to eat an excellent place. The food was delicious, the wine was excellent and the service is great. over, it's a lot of value for money. We recommend this restaurant for lunch or dinner.
A wonderful find in this beautiful little village The food was a joy, beautifully cooked and presented. Very helpful professional staff who explained the menu to us. Fortunately, one of our groups spoke a little French and was able to turn around with our waiter. Our decisions... wouldn't have been better. Two of us chose lobsters with different types of fresh mushrooms with a special sauce that was mouthwater. Another in our group had disguised the local speciality of the onion, which was delicious. Our desserts were also delicious, Soufflé and Crete Karamell. The wines were also well chosen. We stayed at Tilley's B and B and it was a short drive from there with good parking. Hope to return a day, but it's a long way from Australia
We were and we had recussed a table in a typical room as in the Alsatian houses. I ordered a traditional fake hotel master net saignant and it was perfectly made with legumes and fries( 2 accompaniments choices). The waiter was... kind and smiling. Nothing to say. We were 8 people and we got a private room like a typical alsacian house. My piece of beef was perfectly cooked , well grilled on the top and raw inside. I could choose vegetables and french fries with. The waiter was lovely and he always smiled. Just a great time.
The food was good and the service was very nice with our kids, Thus even if we missed at the end the glass of beer normally offered with the touristic menu we very happy and had a funny evening...and now if we are again in the region we have a good reason to go back and taste some other typical plates....as we know now the place...entering in the place through the bar you will not expect that on first floor they have so much tables.
