I ordered a calzone with pepperoni, mushrooms, and hamburger for takeout. They informed me that my order would be ready in approximately 20 minutes. I went out to run an errand.
We will not be returning to this restaurant. The pizza is excellent, but the staff is not very attentive and the service is disorganized. We tried to dine in twice and both times they brought us pizza instead.
I ordered a Calzone with Peperoni, Mushroom, and Hamburger for pick up. The told me my order would be ready in about 15 minutes. I stepped out to do a little shopping at the Publix in the same shopping center. I returned to pick up my order and found that the workers seemed very disorganized. They seemed to get into a couple of spats as I stood there waiting. I had been waiting for about 10 minutes when a couple came in after I did. One of the cashiers immediately waited on that couple and continued to ignore me. I had to ask them for my order to which they told me it was not done yet. My calzone finally arrived and I brought it back to my hotel room in eager anticipation. To my disappointment the Calzone was barley bigger than a sandwich. I found that they had put Italian sausage in the calzone instead of my requested hamburger, and that the thing was raw on the bottom. Hopefully they had a bad night. I wouldn't recommend eating there.
I don 't know why I haven 't written a review for Red Brick until now. After all, my family and I have eaten there for well over two years now. As far as local pizza establishments go, we only like Red Brick and Mellow Mushroom. Both have excellent pizza, and we frequent both throughout each month, but my wife (a native Italian citizen) prefers Red Brick 's pizza menu and thinner, more traditional crust. Our favorites include the Rustica, bacon Cheeseburger, Greek, and prosciutto and Arugula pizzas. Additionally, we enjoy the gelato (only place in Enterprise I know of that has gelato), and the weekly specials. We take advantage of the $10 medium pizza deal almost every Tuesday. The folks working behind the counter are always very friendly and courteous. Orders are processed quickly and accurately. I think the longest I e ever had to wait for an order is about 20 minutes; just long enough to sit down and enjoy a draft beer. Red Brick is also neat in that each both offers its own mini TV for guests to enjoy. They also feature one of the fancy do it yourself Coke machines which allows you to make your own beverage flavor. I rarely drink soft drinks, but an occasional strawberrySprite is my guilty pleasure. Red Brick is a nice, locally owned, quality pizza place. My family prefers them and we look forward to dining with them.
