This is the best Mexican cuisine in the countryside! We dine here at least once a month, and the guacamole Borimex is simply outstanding!
A must-visit! Today, I enjoyed a tamale, shrimp, and rice.
That is my favorite Mexican restaurant to go! I've been going since they opened and continued, usually once a month or so. the steak chimichanga is my favourite dish, and the roasted egg with chocolate and honey is an ingenious dessert!
Loved it. I have been to Mexico City and eaten at a couple of the taqueria restaurants; this place reminded me of them 100%. That does not make me an expert on tacos in Mexico or taco restaurants but it does give me some unique perspective. I read some of the reviews about the restaurant and from my perspective most of the negative ones are slanted with an American expectation. Nothing inherently wrong with that! But if you have ever really been to a taco shop in CDMX, this place should remind you of that in the most positive way possible! Pick your drink from the cooler and have to pop the top yourself; tacos al pastor; tacos on the small tortillas and not like the ones you see at Taco Bell. And on and on! I mean again TO ME this place could fit right in with what you find down south. I am so thrilled to find this place and to have tried it. I will DEFINITELY be coming back!!!!
