Eight Bells - Epsom and Ewell

We had a wonderful time celebrating St. Patrick's Day at this restaurant. We savored a delicious roast dinner and dessert, listened to a fantastic live singer, and watched some incredibly talented Irish dancers. Jodie and her staff were very hospitable. The atmosphere was lively and everyone was so welcoming. We will certainly return in the future.

Great Sunday lunch and great entertainment, best place to be in Ewell on a Sunday afternoon, Jodie and George work so hard as well as the excellent bar staff to make it an unmissable Sunday afternoon

Had a great bit of tucker at the Eight Bells with my boys enjoying a bit of family time. £10 a basket is a great deal while this little family business gets the kitchen up and running. The roast dinner are also fabulous

The food was overpriced for what seemed like Sainsbury's microwavable meals, the drinks were flat and mostly unavailable. The bill was £20 which wasn't too bad, but dining in a restroom that smelled like a half-dead cat covered in pickle juice wasn't ideal. On the plus side, you could get a free fight with the dealers for no reason.

As a previous regular I was in shock last night as I took my fiancé and her 2 friends here for a few drinks. We were accosted by a friend of the landlady who would not leave the lady’s alone. I repeatedly told the bar staff who asked him to move away this had no effect whatsoever. To the point that he became aggressive, extremely rude and my female friends felt threatened and upset. When we came to leave the landlady decided to tell us what we did wrong sticking up for her friend to the point she was drunk and screaming and swearing at the ladies, disgraceful and disgusting behaviour. IF YOU WANT TO FEEL UNSAFE AND IN PHYSICAL DANGER LADIES, THIS IS THE PUB FOR YOU!! Professionalism doesn’t exist in here. Green kings, watch the CCTV footage.
