Service was good. the o2 on weekday was slow. eating was a bit above average, nothing remarkable. we had the fish and chips and mixed grill. I like more seasoned than it was served. the prices are very fair. salat was nice.
For dinner with friends. it was so loud that we couldn't really talk to each other without screaming. my chicken cake was really dry. the chips would have been warmer and were nothing special. we all agree that eating is good. a note: the toilets are inconvenient in the upper floor. not much of a problem, but we saw countless people walking on the backs lost, and an older woman fighting with the stairs while no personal offered her the lower handicap room. Actually, there was nothing that would bring us back.
I had gone past slug and lettuce, but it was compared with its nearby rivals that it had always lost. when I gave the food a try, I was pleasantly surprised, but the service was simply not on standard and was not enough to pull me back for two rounds.
The location of this Slug and Lettuce is what can drag down the quality of atmosphere and service. Understandably the O2 is a major event/concert venue so on an event night all the restaurants and bars are at max capacity which puts a strain on service time and staff. The food is still decent and reasonably price.
