The Derby Arms - Epsom

I've visited the Derby Poore several times and generally had a good experience, but this time was disappointing. We waited over 30 minutes to receive our check, despite several waitstaff passing by and us trying to get their attention. After waiting 45 minutes with no one coming to assist us, I finally had to go to the cash register to request the bill. Additionally, the food was cold, and the gravy was runny. The service was not up to par for a place with so much potential, and I won't be returning.

We had a bit of a wait before we were seated and attended to, but once we got to the table, the service was good and the food was enjoyable. It was quite noisy, likely due to the crowd, but that’s expected in a busy place. I do think the prices are a bit high for a pub, though!

Full people with Sunday dinner or Christmas meet. friendly, accommodating staff.

Although the restaurant was very busy we were served drinks in a reasonable amount of time. The food was very good everyone enjoyed their meal
