Recently had a very unappetizing and unsatisfactory takeout meal for two. We were unable to even complete the food. The leftovers were promptly thrown away.
I ordered for takeout and it was late in being delivered, which was disappointing since it was a Monday. When it finally arrived, the food was terrible. The curry was bland and lacked any flavor or texture, making it the worst curry I've ever had. Unfortunately, the problem with restaurants in Long Eaton seems to be consistent as both the lamb karaj and chicken tikka madras were extremely bland. The only redeeming factor was the naan bread, but overall, I will not be ordering from this place again.
Wife ordered some starter dishes and a main dish. By far the worst Indian takeaway I've had. The food was very greasy and dripping in oil fat. The fish was overdressed with the masala making it hard to eat and taste the actual fish. Absolutely frustrated at the quality of food given for the price paid. Advise to eat else where.
We were walk in customers, and were seated within 5 minutes in a quiet corner of the restaurant. The owners aka waiting staff were very welcoming and lovely, and the food was very tasty. As visitors from out of town, we could see that other customers were regulars, and there was a warm and familiar feeling to the interactions with the owners lovely to see. Very good value for money too, and fast service. (And if the owners read this, the taekwondo black belt grading next day was a success!
