After 36 years in operation, this beloved chip shop in Ilkeston is sadly closing its doors. With top-notch quality and service, they will be greatly missed.

In 20 plus years never had bad food yet wether its kebab or fish and chips its always fantastic normally go once a week and long may that continue

There is a great choice of Fish&Chip shops in and around Ilkeston and you can add Johnny 's to your to try list. Big portion size, fish is like a whale, tasty peas and all at a reasonable price, well worth a try.

Had a chip cob and sausage. Fantastic. Mates had fish and chips and mushy peas the best mushy peas he 's had . Fish lovely too cooked to order. Great chippy. Friendly staff and great service.

This is definitely the best fish and chips in the area by far. We make a special trip just to get fresh takeaway from this restaurant. It is always busy, the staff is consistently polite and efficient, and I absolutely adore the fish. There are so many options on the menu, and the chips are consistently delicious and freshly made.
