The Dugout Grill - Erie

When I first moved to Erie five years ago The Dugout was the first place I ate at. Five years later it's still my go to for wings a great burger or happy hour with my wife. The owner Johnny is really cool and makes a point to get to know his customers. If you live in Erie or just passing through and looking for a burger and a beer try the Dugout, you won't be disappointed. Parking: It's in a small shopping complex with a huge parking lot so there's never a problem with parking. Kid-friendliness: Tons of families go there to have lunch and dinner including mine.

Hidden gem in Erie! It was our first time here and we were really impressed. The bone-in wings with the special secret seasoning/sauce were the best wings we've had in Colorado. Perfectly crispy, not dry and great flavor. Smaller cucumbers in the house salad would be appreciated, but the mango vinaigrette was delicious. I had the Mahi Mahi fish and my husband the Nashville 911 shrimp. Both prepared perfectly--seafood cooked properly, really good seasoning, balanced flavors. Service was decent for a Saturday mid-afternoon.

Love this place. Great people, great service, great food.
