I was pleased to see an improvement in the quality of the food when I returned a few weeks later. However, I was disappointed to find that the additional $5 for takeaway pizza boxes was not worth it. The quality of the pizza was poor, with an overwhelming amount of tomatoes and too few peppers. Overall, I will not be returning to this restaurant.
We visited the Central Coast from Sydney to see a band, and we were impressed by the venue! The black exterior houses several bars, a nightclub, functional rooms, and a bistro. The concert took place in the garden bar, which overlooks the river. The cocktails were fantastic, and the venue was perfect for enjoying performances by Australian icons Thirsty Merc, with support from local talent Toby Wells. We enjoyed delicious brisket rolls, chicken wings, and squid. It was a fantastic night out in a great location, and we would definitely return to the Central Coast for another event. It's refreshing to see a venue that supports live music - 10/10!
At the last minute, I arranged a family dinner for 30 people and the event manager made everything effortless. The shared platters were delightful and the portions were generous. The staff was incredibly accommodating and skilled, making the entire experience relaxing. I definitely recommend hosting your next event here!
We had a fantastic lunch in the sunken monkey yesterday. it was such a relaxed environment and the service was excellent. I had laughs, that was nice, and the huhn caesar was also good. I think the menu could be reworked to some more. interesting dishes as it was a bit limiting.
Visited SM on 11 October for a birthday lunch quite underwhelming. Ordered Calamari and Chicken wings; both coated in the same awful seasoning as well as 2 sirloin meals ordered medium and medium rare, served well done. Given the mains are C$36 we expect...far better. We should have gone to the Box in Ettalong. Lift your game guys not good enough...
