La Barista Coffee Restaurant In West Des Mo

Great atmosphere at this local coffee shop. Our visit took a turn south when we ordered an egg sandwich that turned out to be an egg on a plain white bun with a slice of American cheese. Still joke about it to this day. Honestly though if I go back I 'll just try something else as I definitely want to like this place.

La Barista was my coffee stop for a few days while I was mapping in the area. It was consistently great coffee and wonderful service each time I was there.

Very friendly, tried a Mint Mountain and Mocha chiller they did not disappoint. Biscotti and muffins were sooo good. Will definitely be back to try more.

What a West Des Moines gem. La Barista is a family owned and ran coffee shop that so welcoming. Make sure to try their breakfast burrito. A savory Italian sausage, potatoes, peppers with a hint of cummin I assume. SO GOOD.

La Barista is a family owned, veteran owned cafe that is nothing short of amazing. My favorite employee there is Skye. All jokes aside, this is my job currently and this place is the best. The work environment is so down to earth and anyone can be themself. The boss, Adrian, is the best boss I’ve had my entire life, and they treat everyone like family. Best coffee ever, too, of course(: And I’m not just saying that. And we have sip lids now!
