Escalante Mercantile Natural Grocery

This is a godsend for any vegetarians or vegans! It's nice to have a small-town shop cater to the health-conscious demographic.

Had the pleasure of meeting Marcie and shopping at her beautiful store on our way through town last month. We had delicious breakfast sandwiches, dirty chai( highly recommend), bought some treats for the road and enjoyed some lovely conversation. It was a nice surprise to find the wide selection of organic food that Marcie carries. Don’t miss this stop!

Great products that are organic, sustainable, and healthy. Eggs come from the hens outside and all organic produce. I bought some natural products and had some fresh smoothies!

Love this beautiful little shop! We stopped here on our UT road trip and it was by far one of my favorite stops. The owner was SO friendly and the PB Chocolate Banana smoothie was to die for! If I lived in Escalante (or closer to UT for that matter) I'd be here ALL the time! I have no doubts that everything on the menu is great!
