The dinner menu included three courses, with two possible choices for the first and the main course and four or five choices for the dessert. The price is very reasonable (22 Euro per person for the three courses), the staff is very friendly and welcoming and the location very nice (you can sit outside in the garden if you want to). Definitely a good choice!
We were heading from Scotland to Pau we were traveling south from Bordeaux and wanted to eat somewhere good not an autoroute service station we looked online for somewhere other than the autoroute service stations to eat. We were so fortunate to have found this place only 5 minutes from the autoroute in this picturesque hamlet. The waitress and co owner greeted us and spent time clearly communicating the menu to us with a little help from (despite our limited French and her limited English! . She could not have been nicer of more helpful. There were lots of locals filling the terrace and the atmosphere was alive with good food, good wine and sunshine! The food arrived and it was superb. I had steak frite and my fiancée had fish on a bed of crushed new potatoes. The desert which we shared was a Bretagne cake with ice cream. This was nearing the end of lunch service at 2pm and the chef and co owner came out as we were leaving. His English was superb and we spend a very nice 10 minutes speaking about food, travel etc. We will definitely be back and I am sure this wonderful family run restaurant will still be serving great food!
Very hot, hearty meals, affordable prices, we have had a very good time. I recommend this little restaurant nestled in the countryside
