Terruno - Escazu Costa Rica

Assuming you are staying at the Marriott hotel which is only two minutes walk away it makes no sense to go any other place as this restaurant is probably the best in town. I had the 350 G Rib Eye Steak which was one of the best steaks i have eaten anywhere in the world. My wife had the 250g Baby Back Beef which she awarded 5 stars for. All in all top marks on all fronts. Strongly recommended to eat here. Why go anywhere else when you have a top restaurant on your door step?

The food and service were fantastic. We stumbled upon a gem! The menus are only in Spanish, but our waiter kindly helped translate for us.

Took my wife here for a date. We had a nice bottle of Argentina red wine; she ate the Salmon and I had the costilla (BBQ Ribs). The Salmon had a crispy outer layer with a moist interior; the ribs so tender the meat literally fell off the bone. We had a friendly waiter and an enjoyable lunch. We really enjoyed it here and will definitely visit again.

This restaurant was a quick Uber ride away from the hotel. We arrived around 9pm after a long day of travel, with my wife, daughter and niece. The service was very attentive and helpful. We had several appetizers and salads to start, for dinner we had a few steaks and my wife had fish. The food was very good and the wine selection was just good enough to get us through the meal. If staying in Escazu for a night or a few days this a definitely a place to come by and have a steak.

Started with several appetizers that were very good. Love the chorizo sausage. The house Malbec was very good as well. The skirt steak with grilled vegetables and a mixed salad was awesome. They cooked the steak medium rare perfectly.
